Transfield Services’ values its people and views their skills as one of the company's greatest assets. As good as those skills are, it’s recognised there is a continuing need to improve them, to ensure our people work safer and provide greater value for clients. To achieve this, a number of alliances and relationships with leading training organisations have been established to provide Transfield Services with the best training available for the diverse needs of our employees.
These organisations support our partnering philosophy and work closely with us to provide access to nationally accredited training as well as assisting to develop in-house training programs.
The training programs are designed to form a pathway, providing development support at every stage of an employee’s career. The programs are tailored to reflect Transfield Services’ values, culture, systems and processes to provide relevant and effective training both domestically and internationally.
Transfield Services is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and develops and delivers nationally accredited training courses specific to the needs of the industries in which it operates.
Transfield Services is highly active in the engagement, development and management of apprentices and has a number of strategic initiatives to address skill shortage issues.
