Peter was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transfield Services in March 2009.

Peter has a strong track record of successful leadership in outsourced services globally over more than 30 years in companies such as international oil services company Vetco International and leading global energy and information services company Schlumberger. While at Schlumberger, he published more than 30 technical papers and was awarded four patents.

He is an alumni of Columbia Business School where he completed an Executive Management Program. Peter is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and on the Advisory Boards for Offshore Magazine and Herriot-Watt University, in Scotland.

Tiernan O’Rourke

Tiernan is responsible for Transfield Services’ overall financial strategy and policy as well as financial and management reporting, treasury, taxation, funding and investor relations. He was previously Chief Financial Officer for Australand Holdings Limited and has more than 20 years experience in senior financial, commercial and management roles in companies such as AGL Limited, Westfield Holdings Limited, CSR Limited and Brambles Australia Limited.

Kate Munnings

Kate leads the group responsible for Transfield Services’ legal, company secretarial, risk management and internal audit functions. Kate has more than 17 years experience working with and advising companies in the engineering, construction and services sectors in relation to their corporate, contractual and other commercial requirements. Kate’s team is focused on establishing and maintaining strategies designed to enhance business outcomes and protect shareholder value.

Bruce James

Chief Executive Officer, Australia and New Zealand

Bruce has 34 years industry experience. He commenced working for Transfield Construction in 1975, holding senior management roles including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Transfield Construction, General Manager Transfield Maintenance and CEO Transfield Operations and Maintenance and, in April 2006, he was appointed CEO, Australia.

In December 2008, the Australian and New Zealand businesses were streamlined to better leverage their capabilities, skills and capabilities as one team. Bruce was subsequently appointed CEO, Australia and New Zealand.

Larry Ames

Larry is responsible for the management and growth of the Company’s North American business. He has more than 20 years of global experience in senior roles across the engineering and construction, facilities management, securities and logistics industries. He was most recently president of Day & Zimmermann's Government Services business in the U.S, and his experience covers both the private and the public sectors.

Philip Wratt

Chief Executive, Middle East

Philip is responsible for the strategic direction and management of Transfield Services in Qatar, United Arab Emirates, India and South East Asia.

He has more than 32 years experience across the oil and gas and building construction industries in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

He was most recently Vice President and Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific and Australia for GE Oil and Gas, based in Singapore. His responsibilities included managing strategic direction and assessing new market opportunities, maintaining a strong external focus on customer needs and resolving issues and delivering to budget, profit, health, safety and environmental targets.

Paul McCarthy

Paul is responsible for delivering service excellence to our customers globally through managing the health, safety and environment, implementation and transitions, labour relations, global shutdowns and asset management functions. Paul has more than 28 years experience in the oil and gas, mining and process, petrochemical, facilities management and transport sectors. He joined Transfield Services in 1995 and has held a number of senior management roles, including Chief Executive, International.

Matthew Irwin

Matthew is responsible for optimising the competitive position of the Company’s portfolio of assets. Matthew was previously Chief Financial Officer and has played a pivotal role in the Company’s global growth and in the successful public listing of Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund (TSI Fund) in 2007. He has 17 years experience in senior positions in finance, administration and banking.

Nicholas Yates

Nicholas is responsible for overseeing Transfield Services’ global market positioning, business development activities and implementing the Company’s strategic plan. The marketing function covers market intelligence, client account management, brand management, marketing communication and stakeholder communications. He has more than 20 years experience across the construction and property industries in senior operational and strategic development roles and was formerly Chief Executive Officer of project management consultancy, APP Corporation, acquired by Transfield Services in 2006.

Joseph Sadatmehr

Joseph is a long-serving employee of Transfield Services and has more than 35 years industry experience. He is responsible for leveraging existing and prospective major global client relationships with a focus on winning new work and on retaining and growing existing key relationships. Joseph works closely with the CEOs’ senior teams across all regions and all of the industries in which the Company operates. Prior to his current role, Joseph was Chief Executive Officer and President of Transfield Services’ North American business.
