AUSTRALIA
Transurban, Melbourne, Victoria
TransLink Operations Pty Ltd (TLO) is a joint venture between Transfield Services and Egis Projects, a subsidiary of the leading European transportation infrastructure company Groupe Egis. On behalf of Transurban, the joint venture operates CityLink’s Operation Control Centre.
Transfield Services manages and performs the maintenance of the tolling gantries, road pavement, the twin tunnels, landscaped areas and the operation and maintenance of the highly sophisticated tolling system.
Transfield Services also provides a 24-hour, seven-day emergency response to incidents.
VicRoads, Victoria
Transfield Services undertakes a number of road maintenance contracts for VicRoads throughout eastern and central Victoria and provides maintenance, bridge and civil project services, general road repairs, landscaping, tree, sign and guidepost maintenance, pavement rehabilitation and incident responses in designated regions and networks.
Connector Motorways, Sydney, NSW
On behalf of Connector Motorways, Transfield Services operates and maintains the Lane Cove Tunnel, the final link in Sydney’s orbital road network. The tunnels are 3.6 kilometres long and feature an advanced ventilation system for the benefit of motorists and the environment.
Transfield Services operates the control centre, which has sophisticated traffic management and incident management systems to ensure the smooth operation of the tunnels.
ConnectEast Group, Melbourne, Victoria
On behalf of ConnectEast Group, Transfield Services operates and maintains EastLink. EastLink comprises 39 kilometres of motorway, including twin 1.6 kilometre tunnels.
Transfield Services manages the operation of this new motorway utilising its extensive experience and capabilities in traffic management systems, traffic control room operations, incident response, tunnel cleaning and drainage, preparation of operation manuals, customer service and asset management including capital works.
Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources, Tasmania
Transfield Services maintains the southern and north-eastern areas of the Tasmanian Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources road network.
The work includes maintenance and civil project services, general road repairs, landscaping, tree, sign, guidepost and guardrail maintenance, pavement rehabilitation and incident response.
NEW ZEALAND
NZ Transport Agency
Transfield Services maintains state highways for the New Zealand Transport Agency in the West Waikato and North Auckland regions under ten-year performance-specified maintenance contracts.
Transfield Services provides network management and physical works services including the maintenance of pavements, general corridor maintenance, local authority and utility liaison.
We also provide emergency response services to incidents and we are a direct point of contact for the community on behalf of our client. We utilise the latest asset management practices and technologies, including Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographical Information System (GIS).
Transfield Services also operates and maintains:
- the Lyttelton Tunnel, which links the Port of Lyttelton with Christchurch City, and
- the Network Management Operations in Auckland, which manages the efficiency of Auckland’s motorway and arterial road system.
Transfield Services’ traffic management system on Auckland’s motorway network includes the installation of traffic signals at on-ramps to the network to help improve traffic flow during peak periods.
Transfield Services provides routine maintenance services to local authority clients, including Franklin City Council, Whangarei District Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, North Shore City Council and Wellington City Council. The services are provided to the road network, including road pavement, drainage structures and bridges.
NORTH AMERICA
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), USA
Transfield Services provides routine and preventive maintenance on 13 asset maintenance projects for the Florida Department of Transportation. Projects include roadways, bridges, canals and/or facilities in all seven FDOT Districts.
We will also provide operations and maintenance services to the Port of Miami Tunnel project from 2014 under a 35-year, US$260 million contract with MAT Concessionaire LLC.
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), USA
We maintain and operate the Turnpike Mainline, Seminole Expressway, Beeline Expressway, East West Expressway, Southern Connector and Western Beltway.
Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), USA
Transfield Services maintains 1,522 lane kilometres of roads infrastructure for TXDOT, as well as four segments of State Highway 130.
Miami-Dade Expressway (MDX), Florida, USA
Transfield Services operates and maintains the expressways and associated facilities in the Greater Miami area on State Roads 836, 874, 878, 112 and 924 under an asset management contract with MDX.
This project includes operations and maintenance of toll plazas and the 20,000 square-foot MDX Administration Building.
Orlando - Orange County Expressway Authority (OOCEA) - SR 429, Florida, USA
Transfield Services provides routine and periodic preventive maintenance services for the OOCEA on State Road 429.
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), USA
We are responsible for operating and maintaining the interstate roadways in Central Virginia under two Turnkey Asset Maintenance (TAMS) projects for the department.
Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA), USA
Transfield Services provides maintenance services to the Maryland 100 (MD 100) in Anne Arundel and Howard Counties.
U.S. 192 in Osceola County – The Gateway to Disney, Florida, USA
Transfield Services provides asset management services for Osceola County on West 192, the ‘Gateway to Disney.’
Alaska Department of Transportation (AKDOT), USA
In partnership with the AKDOT, Transfield Services operates and maintains the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, a combination train and vehicle tunnel near Anchorage, Alaska.
DC Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, USA
Transfield Services maintains the 17 tunnels on the National Highway System in Washington, D.C. This project includes routine operations and maintenance activities, emergency response and significant rehabilitation efforts.
Transurban, Virginia, USA
As a member of the Transurban acquisition team for the Pocahontas Parkway, we provide maintenance services to the four-lane toll road south of Richmond.
Ontario Ministry of Transportation, Canada
We have a C$150 million, 12-year asset management contract with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for road, bridge and systems maintenance, sustaining capital works, snow and ice management and emergency response services. Services are provided along 2,500 kilometres of road network in Ontario’s North Bay area.
New Brunswick Highway Corporation, Canada
Transfield Services’ partnership with Dexter Construction Co. Ltd. has a 30-year operations, maintenance and rehabilitation contract with the New Brunswick Highway Corporation as part of the Route 1 Gateway Project.
New Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), USA
We provide operations, maintenance, emergency response, asset management and construction services on 135 miles of interstate roadway and associated assets for the NCDOT.
