Transfield Services provides asset management, operations and maintenance services to Townsville and Collinsville Power Stations in Queensland and Kemerton Power Station in Western Australia on behalf of Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund.
As the preferred supplier to Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund, Transfield Services also contract manages the operators of TSI Fund’s wind farms. Wind farms are located at Windy Hill in Queensland; Toora in Victoria; and Starfish Hill and Mt Millar, both in South Australia.

AUSTRALIA
Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund (TSIF)
Transfield Services provides asset management, operations and maintenance services to Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund’s (TSI Fund) wholly-owned assets.
This includes, Townsville and Collinsville Power Stations in Queensland and Kemerton Power Station in Western Australia. We also contract manage the operations and maintenance of TSI Fund’s wind farms at Mt Millar and Starfish Hill in South Australia, Toora in Victoria and Windy Hill in Queensland.
Verve Energy, Western Australia
Transfield Worley Power Services (TWPS) – a joint venture between WorleyParsons and Transfield Services – provides operations and maintenance services to Verve Energy’s 340MW Collie A Power Station in Western Australia. TWPS is implementing efficiencies, asset management strategies and a culture of continuous improvement to ensure a reliable and cost-effective power supply.
Hydro Tasmania, Tasmania
TWPS has a two-year asset management, operations and maintenance contract at Bell Bay Power Station. The team took over the contract in March 2007, demonstrating flexibility from the start by adjusting a transition plan to ensure the smooth running of an operating plant, from an original plan where the plant was dormant.
Delta Maintenance, New South Wales
TWPS works with Delta Maintenance at Vales Point Power Station on the Central Coast and Mount Piper Power Station near Lithgow delivering outage management services.
TGE Energy Services, WA and NSW
TGE Energy Services is a joint venture between Transfield Services and GE Power Systems, specialising in the maintenance of hydro, gas and steam turbines and high-voltage generator, transformers and motors across the mining, rail and power industries. The Perth workshop in Australia is capable of manufacturing high-voltage coil and generator bars and is the only GE-licensed gas turbine repair facility in Australia and New Zealand. TGE Energy Services also has workshops at Bunbury in Western Australia and Chullora in New South Wales.
NEW ZEALAND
Meridian Energy
Transfield Services is at the forefront of services and solutions to power generators in the wind, hydro, geothermal and thermal services. We provide maintenance, refurbishment, overhaul and sustaining capital works services, sharing experience, technology and knowledge to achieve mutually beneficial results.
We are currently refurbishing the 850 megawatt Manapouri Hydro Power Station, which is on schedule for completion by mid-2008.
Trustpower
Transfield Services delivered New Zealand’s biggest wind farm and adjacent substation – Trustpower’s Tararua Wind Farm Stage Three Project.
Contact Energy
We deliver generator rewinds, uprates and maintenance services in a long-term relationship with Contact Energy.
Mighty River Power
Transfield Services is constructing a substation and a 2.6 kilometre transmission line connecting the soon-to-be-completed 90MW geothermal power station at Kawerau to Transpower’s network. Work is expected to be completed in early 2008.
