Transfield Services regretfully advises the passing of director Mel Ward AO. Mr Ward was a founding director of the Company, appointed in March 2001 before Transfield Services listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Transfield Services’ Chairman, Anthony Shepherd, said today: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mel Ward. He was a major contributor to the establishment and development of Transfield Services as a respected public company. His dedication to the Australian business community and to the arts has been immense. Mel was a true gentleman, a man of integrity, and will be greatly missed.”

The Board of Directors and the Company extend their deepest and sincere condolences to Mel Ward’s family.
