Transfield Services finalising new Alliance with ConnectEast

Transfield Services has signed a Heads of Agreement with ConnectEast that will extend its operations and maintenance of the Eastlink Motorway in Victoria for a further two years to 2015.
Moving from a fixed price contract to an Alliance agreement will allow Transfield Services to share directly in the benefits arising from performance and efficiency improvements.
Transfield Services has exceeded all set Key Performance Indicators in its first 18 months of operating EastLink, achieving an average response time of under six minutes to accidents and incidents and repairing most motor vehicle accident related damage on the motorway in less than two hours.
