Transfield Services secures new AUD200 million contract with Western Australian Department of Housing

Transfield Services has secured a three-year AUD200 million contract with the Western Australian Department of Housing to manage the repairs and maintenance of the Department’s public housing in Perth.
The company will also provide repairs and maintenance services for public housing and government regional officer housing in the Great Southern, Midwest and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.
Transfield Services will employ approximately 600 local subcontractors.
Managing Director and CEO, Dr Peter Goode, said today: “This new contract brings the total of government-owned housing premises that will be maintained by Transfield Services in Australia to 100,000 and highlights our continued organic growth in the sector.”
Transfield Services will use its Reconciliation Action Plan to engage Indigenous employees and provide employment opportunities across the awarded zones.
Transfield Services has provided services to Housing NSW since 2002.
