The Better Way is the main tool used to record and capture innovative ideas to improve a problem, process, or situation.

Once written the Better Way is entered in the Innovations Database for tracking and reporting requirements, ensuring the Better Way is actioned in a timely manner.

This database enables easy generation of progress reports to:

• Analyse the status of a Better Way at Transfield Services. 
• Create site, contract, or business innovation charts and logs which are used to inform employees of the progress of the Better Ways received. 
• Record cost savings which have been achieved through the Better Way system.
