10 Million Challenge

The 10 Million Challenge is a global initiative. The project commenced on 16 January 2012,  with the Transfield Services group of companies striving to achieve 10 million hours worked without anyone sustaining a lost time injury.

To help achieve this goal, every single person within the Company has received personal authority from our Managing Director and CEO - Peter Goode. Peter has given permission to stop any task that can’t be done safely. In return, all of our people have committed to using this authority, and participating in a safe solution.

In addition to the stop work authority, there are other supporting activities and tools to assist in achieving our goal. While this helps us start our journey, all of our people are encouraged to provide ideas on what more can be done to assist us in reaching our goal.
