Looking after the well-being of those who work for and with us is in our DNA. With the addition of global management practices our safety culture has developed into a distinctive characteristic of which we are very proud.

We’ve made remarkable improvements, but we’ll never be satisfied until we achieve our vision, ‘no injuries to anyone, anytime.’ Working towards this goal, in the 2010-2011 financial year we reduced our Global Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) by  20 per cent.

We continue to refresh and improve our approaches through initiatives such as our global mandatory safety rules and the introduction of a sophisticated database for managing our critical safety processes.
