Global Standards

The Global Standards are a key element of the Global Management System and their purpose is to:

• Promote a common language and business expectations,
• Set clear performance benchmarks,
• Drive the application of global tools and processes,
• Provide flexibility to address regional and client requirements, and
• Maintain robust governance and assurance processes.

The Global Standards provide the foundation for a sustainable business by minimising duplication and promoting excellence through the consistent application of proven tools and processes. The standards also allow flexibility in how they are met so that local operating, regulatory and client requirements can be addressed.

Business Groups are accountable for achieving the benchmarks set by the Global Standards. Each Business Group will use the standards as guidance to establish their own system while maintaining Transfield Services’ performance expectations.
