Operations and Exercises
A key role in our support to the Defence Forces is our ability to surge quickly to meet rapidly evolving Defence contingencies. This includes supporting the mounting of short notice operational deployments, or reaction to civil emergencies such as cyclones, bush fires and floods. Large Defence exercises although planned in advance, demand the flexibility that we can provide in order to escalate provision of services, often remotely from established bases.
We are highly experienced and prepared for mobilising workforces to challenging and remote environments.
We have been contracted by the Department of Defence for more than 15 years and continue to invest in equipment to support operations across Australia.
Our workforce is highly mobile and continues to support Defence deployments in a range of locations.
FAST FACT
Our Defence portfolio employs more than 1,000 people in service delivery, maintenance and service activities; in addition, we employ an additional 1,000 sub-contract staff on Defence related business.
